  Schwedenplatz - Schleuse Nussdorf - Donau - Schwedenplatz

   
  The Danube Canal - also called "Little Danube" flows 17 km through one part of the city of Vienna.
1 Tours of the three boats MS Schlögen, MS Vienna, and MS Vindobona start at the Schwedenplatz pier (U1 and U4 underground station of the same name)
2 Passing Kaiserbad Lock and Lock House built in 1904 by Otto Wagner, the master architect.
3 Vienna Ring Tower - features 23 floors, the first skyscraper in Vienna.
4 Rossau Barracks - built from 1865 to 1869 in Windsor style, and, among others, headquarters of the traffic police
5 Thermal Waste Treatment Plant Spittelau - designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
6 Nussdorf Lock - built by Otto Wagner around 1900 redesigned in 1966.
7 The two hills Kahlenberg (483 m) and Leopoldsberg (423 m) border the city in the north-west.
8 The Urania observatory - built by Max Fabiani and opened in 1910 - today houses also a cinema, and a restaurant.
