MS DÜRNSTEIN

PRIDE OF THE WACHAU
In the winter of 2015/2016, the former MS Prinz Eugen will be subjected to a complete reconstruction and then renamed MS Dürnstein. The new look and feel of the Wachau region is a reflection of the reluctant, genuine materials, but also the nautical feel is skilfully set:
Decoration elements with old wood (old wine wood, ropes and cables, wine bottles, etc.)
Bright, pleasant atmosphere with white wood and noble brown tones
Highlights with front wood discs as accentuations in the ceiling area and in wall installations
Clear look at tables and chairs
Lounge area on the upper deck for cozy lingering and small talk
Flexible sun sail in addition to the fixed bar area at Freideck
A recomendation of a yacht to the sister ship MS Admiral Tegetthoff
When setting foot on board ship the passengers find themselves in the entrance area on the main deck. The entrance area is the focal point from which the two restaurants, one at the bow for 110, and one at the stern for 90 guests, respectively, can be reached. Also on this deck, next to the galley and the toilet for the handicapped, there are also the cash desk and the staircases downstairs to the toilets for the passengers on the lower deck, to the engine room, and the crew cabins. The main staircase from the entrance area leads upstairs to the generously laid out upper deck. The panorama parlour at the bow seats approximately 50 passengers, who can enjoy a most splendid view of the landscape as the boat glides through the waves.
